I do not specialize in any one modality or technique. I prefer to use several (Swedish, deep pressure, etc) to create a customized therapeutic session specific to your needs. Whether it is strictly relaxation or something a little more involved like a spasmatic muscle or tightness in a particular region.
Each massage I give is different, even to the same client. I listen to my clients and I feel what their body is telling me; more time here, less time there. Communication is key, not only prior to the session but throughout.
Through constant education I am continually learning new ways to provide the best therapy for my clients. Books, live classes, podcasts, sessions with other LMT’s, videos; all of these things bring a new and fresh aspect to my massages.

Massage also improves blood circulation, leading to lower blood pressure and improved body functions. The techniques used during the session facilitate blood flow through congested areas, releasing pressure and allowing new blood to flow through targeted areas. When the muscles are gently pulled and squeezed, lactic acid is flushed from the muscles, which contributes to the improved functioning of the lymphatic system.
Following a massage session, most clients report feeling not just relaxed, but completely rejuvenated. This feeling is attributed to the release of dopamine and serotonin during massage. These hormones are responsible for happiness and feelings of overall well-being.
